These sessions are designed to enhance your understanding of how to effectively demonstrate the ICF Core Competencies at the ACC level. You’ll gain clarity on the fail criteria, the expected standard, and strategies to exceed them.
We partner with you on your recordings through 5 group sessions and 2 one-on-one sessions, where we closely examine your coaching conversations. Our aim is to celebrate your strengths and pinpoint areas for growth, helping you develop the necessary skills to meet and exceed the ACC level requirements.
As outlined by the ICF in the ACC Credential page, at this level you have to demonstrate you have “the knowledge, skills and understanding of core coaching principles that serve as the foundation for coaching practice”.
Throughout the ACC Mentor Coaching process, our focus is on ensuring that the ICF ACC minimum skill requirements are fully understood and integrated into your practice.
In detail, we will help you understand what you need to develop, so that you can:
By attending these sessions, you’ll gain the clarity, skills, and confidence needed to demonstrate ICF Core Competencies at the ACC level. You’ll receive personalised feedback on your coaching, helping you strengthen your abilities, address areas of improvement, and consistently meet ICF standards.
With both group learning and individual attention with an ICF Master Certified Coach, you’ll refine your coaching practice, be fully prepared to complete the credentialing process and earn your ICF-ACC credential, all while deepening your impact as a coach.
Mentor Coaches are not superheroes, nor mentalists, nor are they gurus. In fact, a few years ago they were exactly where you are. They know the challenges of becoming a great Coach perfectly well. But they also know how to overcome them. Your Mentor Coach will not push you in this or that direction, nor will your insecurities magically disappear. You will work together to overcome them, bringing about the best in you.
The main reason to join our Group Mentor Coaching is to gain incredible insights into what you need to grow. Your Mentor Coach is a trusted partner that deeply cares about your growth, both as a coach and a human. You don’t need to be an accredited coach in order to join Mentor Coaching with Coaching Outside the Box and we also welcome you if you have been trained by another coaching school.
If you are looking to apply for your ICF credential, Mentor Coaching is also a mandatory step of the process! You will take your coaching skills to the next level and get ready to apply for your ICF qualification or go through the renewal process. Credentialing candidates on the ACC ACSTH and Portfolio paths must complete 10 hours of Mentor Coaching at an accredited coach training school prior to submitting their application. They must partner with a Mentor Coach who holds valid PCC or MCC credentials. So why not partner with Coaching Outside the Box?
Our Mentor Coaching programmes meet ICF requirements and last a minimum of three months to allow for reflection and practice on the skills you need to grow. With the help of a Professional Certified Coach you will begin to clarify your goals. You will then create an action plan tailored to your career ambitions. You will find out what makes you a great coach and how you can fulfil your potential. You will evaluate your recordings and learn how to grade them. You will receive in-depth feedback to improve the way you coach, before submitting your application for ICF credentials.
We offer 10 hours of mentoring in total, of which 3 hours are individual and 7 hours are group mentoring. Our Mentor Coaching groups never exceed 10 participants. With small groups we can ensure as much attention as we would like to give you as well as high quality mentoring.
